Anker offers a straightforward warranty. Warranty periods for various parts and products can be found in the table below, as they vary depending on the model.

This limited manufacturer's warranty does not affect any statutory warranty rights. All warranty periods listed apply only to purchases made directly from our official website. For purchases from local stores, resellers, or distributors, please contact support@ankersolix.com with your proof of purchase for verification.

Warranty claims for quality-related problems

This limited warranty statement applies only to products purchased in the country of original purchase.

All quality-related defects in items sold directly by Anker or authorized Anker dealers are covered by a comprehensive warranty from the date of purchase.

Anker's limited warranty is restricted to the country of order. The limited warranty is void for items ordered outside the country where they were originally purchased or shipped directly from an authorized online purchaser.

Quality-related warranty claims for purchases made through the official Anker website or authorized distributors/retailers.

Warranty claims for all replacement products are subject to the same warranty period as the original defective item. Warranty claims on products are void once a product has been fully refunded.

TWELVE (12) / FIFTEEN (15) YEARS LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

For the Anker RS40 Balcony Solar Panel (410W / 415W), and only when sold in the regions specified below and installed on residential roofs, Anker warrants the product to the original purchaser for twelve (12) years from the date of purchase, subject to the limitations and exclusions contained herein. The products must be free from defects in materials and workmanship that impair product functionality under normal application, installation, use, and service conditions. [Anker RS40P Rigid Solar Panel has a fifteen (15) year warranty.]

Claims under the above warranties will only be accepted if the purchaser can prove that the product malfunction is solely due to defects in materials and/or workmanship under normal application, installation, use, and service conditions as specified in Anker's standard product documentation. This limited product warranty does not guarantee any specific performance of the products, which is covered exclusively by the limited performance warranty described below.

LIMITED PERFORMANCE WARRANTY FOR TWENTY-FIVE (25) YEARS

For the Anker RS40 balcony power plant (410W / 415W), Anker guarantees that the products listed above will maintain a performance level as specified below for a period of twenty-five years from the date of purchase:

During the 12-year warranty period, Anker guarantees that the product's output power will be no less than 90% of the stated output power.

For 25 years, the panels' output will exceed 80% of the stated output.

The actual power output of the products may only be determined for verification purposes using standard test conditions. The uncertainty of the test equipment must be taken into account and applied to all actual power output measurements.

LIMITED PERFORMANCE WARRANTY FOR THIRTY (30) YEARS

Anker RS40P Balcony Power Plant (445 W, 2-pack) guarantees that the above-listed products will maintain a performance level as specified below for a period of thirty years from the date of purchase:

During the 15-year period, Anker guarantees that the output power of its balcony power plants will be no less than 93.4% of the stated output power.

For 30 years, the panels' output will exceed 88.8% of the stated output.

The actual power output of the products may only be determined for verification purposes using standard test conditions. The uncertainty of the test equipment must be taken into account and applied to all actual power output measurements.

Not covered by the warranty:

Products that have been damaged or altered.

The product was operated with a damaged cable, plug, or output cable.

Products that have been cleaned with harmful chemicals or cleaning agents.

Items whose warranty period has expired

Purchases from illicit sources

Purchases from unauthorized resellers

Products without sufficient proof of purchase

Products repaired by third parties

Purchases from resellers

Lost, stolen, or free products

Damage caused by external sources.

Damage caused by misuse of products (including, but not limited to, drops, use of the product beyond its rated power, exposure of the product to rain or snow, extremely low air pressure, extreme temperatures, water, improper operation of equipment).

This is how a warranty claim is submitted.

Buyers must provide sufficient proof of purchase, such as an order number from online purchases made through Anker or authorized Anker dealers, sales invoices, or dated receipts from authorized Anker dealers that include a description of the product and the price.

For defective items that Anker has to return, the warranty for this replacement is void if the wrong item is returned to Anker or if the defective item is not returned.

Anker must note this if the buyer repairs the product themselves.

The serial number of the defective item/visible evidence demonstrating the defect is required.

Anker needs to conduct a quality check of the returned item.

Included in the scope of delivery

We offer a 144-month / 180-month warranty and lifetime friendly technical support for the Anker RS40/RS40P solar module.

Regarding the twelve (12) / fifteen (15) year limited warranty: If the solar panel is defective, Anker will replace it directly within the warranty period.

For Anker MI60/MI80 microinverters (600W/800W), we offer a 120-month warranty and lifetime technical support.

Regarding the ten (10) year limited product warranty, Anker will replace it within the warranty period if the inverter does not function.

Regarding accessories: We offer a 24-month warranty on the Anker adjustable tilt mount for solar panels and a 12-month warranty on the Schuko cables. If the main accessories are damaged, we will replace them directly within the warranty period. Please note that misuse or loss is not covered by the warranty.

THE LIMITED WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN REPLACE AND EXCLUDE ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR APPLICATION, AND ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS ON THE PART OF ANKER/SOLIX, UNLESS OTHER WARRANTIES AND OBLIGATIONS ARE AGREED UPON IN WRITING WITH ANKER/SOLIX. SOME JURISDICTIONS LIMIT OR DO NOT PERMIT WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS, SO THIS PROVISION MAY NOT BE VALID FOR THE BUYER IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANKER/SOLIX HEREBY EXCLUDES ANY RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES OR INJURIES TO PERSON OR PROPERTY, AS WELL AS FOR OTHER LOSSES, INJURIES AND DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY OTHER CAUSES ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH ANY PRODUCTS OR THEIR USE. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANKER/SOLIX SHALL UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES BE LIABLE TO THE BUYER, THIRD PARTIES, OR OTHER PERSONS WITH A CLAIM FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, EQUIPMENT DOWNTIME, OR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND IN CONNECTION WITH THE PRODUCTS, EVEN IF ANKER/SOLIX HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF ANKER/SOLIX, IF ANY, FOR DAMAGES OR OTHERWISE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID TO ANKER/SOLIX FOR THE PRODUCT IN THE EVENT OF A WARRANTY CLAIM.

The buyer acknowledges that the above limitations of liability are an essential part of the agreement between the parties and that the purchase price of the products would be materially different without such limitations. Some jurisdictions do not limit or permit exclusions of liability, so this provision may not apply to the buyer in such jurisdictions. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the exclusion of damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to the buyer in such jurisdictions.

Outside of this warranty, you may have specific rights and other rights that vary from state to state or country to country. This limited warranty does not affect any additional rights you may have under the laws of your jurisdiction to sell used goods. Some states or countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations or exclusions in this limited warranty statement may not apply to you in these areas.

When returning items using a prepaid shipping label provided by Anker, Anker assumes responsibility for any damage or loss incurred during transit. When returning items due to quality defects, the buyer assumes responsibility for any damage or loss incurred during transit. Anker does not issue refunds for items damaged in transit for non-quality-related warranty claims.
